REFLECTION

1)    1) My perception towards Engage, Empower and Enhance model are very suitable to be applying in the school or even in the university level. There are a lot of advantages for the school student can get which they can have better understanding of science concept and science experimentation. From the experiment they can analyze and interpret the data and observation that they have record from the experiment. Other than that this application is a new innovative experiment possible so it can develop greater interest in practical work and be more collegial collaboration opportunities among student. Furthermore this application also will enhance computer literacy and help student to have better graphing skill.

2)    2) I think the difficulties of implementing this Engage, Empower and Enhance model are student may not relate science concepts to microscopic and symbolic system representation and some other people may not like working on computer system. Other than that some teacher will face a problem which will increased work load among them where as the values for the student can attract the student to learn and carry out the experiment and recording the data.

3)    3) Data logging, simulation and modeling are very suitable to be apply in the school at the same time can address student’s problem in learning.  Simulation is the exploration of existing models. ICT can uniquely illustrate scientific concept with use of high quality multimedia enabling students to interact, reflect, and develop their knowledge and understanding. Next, the key to a successful simulation learning experiences is through appropriate intervention, questioning, and emphasis of key observable points and constant evaluation of the development of understanding by the student. Other than that it approach system thinking in a way that is manageable even from a fairly young age and develop new strategies for solving problems building models also test personal hypotheses by making prediction.

4)    4) The problems that we foresee during integrating the use of data logging is some of the sensor cannot be use for example pulse rate sensor. Some other sensors also give inaccurate results making us to change our experiment to others. Whereas we are facing difficulties in searching and creating the suitable unique feature for our simulation and modeling. But from this application we can compare the similarities and differences using this application with manual method.

5)    5) There are few suggestion that we can use to solved this problem which are try to look suitable simulation and modeling that student can easily understand and can develop their interest to learn more about the topic in that application. Next, try to change the suitable experiment with the use suitable sensor in order to get more valid results.
